John is the managing director and R&D manager of Zebra-Tech, a Nelson based company that designs and manufactures instruments for underwater research and fisheries catch sampling.  

With the Te Tiro Moana Sensor being created by Zebra-Tech, John’s expertise in the implementation of these sensors into the Moana Project is essential to the data collection component.
