 Open-access data and tools are fundamental aspects of the Moana Project. So that we can track the benefits of the Moana Project, and our success in making ocean data accessible to all, we ask that you fill in a brief form prior to accessing the data. This helps us estimate project benefits, like the number of organisations and individuals using the data and the types of application it is being used for. We also ask that you acknowledge the project when using Moana Project data, models or tools.

The Moana Data is shared under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License. If your intended use of these data is primarily intended for, or directed toward, commercial advantage or monetary compensation, please approach us and we can collaboratively look at how we can facilitate your needs.

To track the research benefits of the Moana Project, we would appreciate receiving a copy of any publications arising from the use of Project data - please attach in an email to info@moanaproject.org.
