Moana Project features on Sea Change podcast

Wanting to catch up on all things Moana Project? Thanks to Sea Change podcast you can now listen in and hear our scientists explain the project. The Moana Project features over five episodes. Sea Change is hosted by Heather Johnson, and it explores the different relationships people in Aotearoa New Zealand have with the moana.
 
In the Moana Project episodes, Heather chats to team leads from the project, learning about the research and connections within the Moana Project.   

You can hear about where the Mangōpare temperature sensor programme is at with Te Tiro Moana lead, Dr. Julie Jakoboski.   

Learn about how Ngā Ripo o Te Moana are working toward delivering Aotearoa, New Zealand’s first nation-wide ocean modelling system, from Science Lead Dr. Joao de Souza.  

Professor Jonathan Gardner leads us through He Hono Moana’s objectives – predicting the source and settlement of taonga marine species to support sustainable management. Listen in for all things genetics, pāua, koura (crayfish) and kuku/kutai (green lipped mussels).
